Day Two: possible chapter headings
These illustrate a sort of general outline, I suppose
Chapter One: In which the background is explained by the narrator, who has some connection with the case
Chapter Two: During which an eccentric millionaire is found murdered in a most shocking manner
Chapter Three: In which a number of mysterious clues are discovered and pondered
Chapter Four: Which contains another ghastly and surprising murder
Chapter Five: Which contains another murder, alarms and excursions in the night
Chapter Six: The purpose of which is to build unbearable suspense for the reader
Chapter Seven: In which we discover that additional murders have occurred
Chapter Eight: Which, rather unfortunately, gets completely out of hand
Chapter Nine: This contains the climax of the story, as well as a few naughty bits
Chapter Ten: Everything is explained, although not perhaps to the reader's liking
